A Scotsman walking through a field, sees a man drinking water from a pool with his hand.

The Scotsman man shouts ‘ Awa
ye feel hoor thatâs full Oâ coos Sharn’
(Don’t drink the water, it’s full of cow s ** t.)

The man shouts back ‘I’m English, Speak English, I don’t understand you’.

The Scotsman man shouts back ‘Use both hands, you’ll get more in.

My dear son what is dracula……..

Nature Turning Against Mankind

Don’t ever dine with Frankenstein;
he feasts on flaming turpentine.
He chomps and chews on soles of shoes
and quaffs down quarts of oily ooze.
At suppertime he’ll slurp some slime.
He’s known to gnaw on gristly grime.
His meals of mud and crispy crud
will curl your hair and chill your blood.
His poison, pungent, putrid snacks
may cause you seizures and attacks.
Your hair may turn completely white.
You may pass out or scream in fright.
Your skin will crawl.
Your throat will burn.
Your eyes will bulge.
Your guts will churn.
Your teeth will clench.
Your knees will shake.
Your hands will sweat.
Your brain will bake.
You’ll cringe and cry.
You’ll moan and whine.
You’ll feel a chill
run down your spine.
You’ll lose your lunch.
You’ll lose your head.
So come…
and dine with me instead.

Equality Of Men and Women In Religious Obligations

Islam makes no distinction between men and woman in the spiritual regard.  Both have a soul, both were created for the same purpose in life, both have a duty to fulfill their religious obligations, both will be judged by the All-Mighty, and both will be rewarded or punished according to their individual actions.  Whenever the Quran mentions those fortunate beings who will enter the Gardens of Bliss because of their piety and good deeds, it mentions men and women together.

“And whoever does righteous good deeds, male or female, and is a true believer in the Oneness of Allah (Muslim), such will enter Paradise and not the least injustice, even to the size of a Naqira (speck on the back of a datestone), will be done to them.” (An-Nisa 4:124)

“Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).” (An-Nahl 16:97)

“The believers, men and women, are Auliya’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); they perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” (At-Tawbah 9:71)

“Verily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allah in Islam) men and women, the believers men and women (who believe in Islamic Monotheism), the men and the women who are obedient (to Allah), the men and women who are truthful (in their speech and deeds), the men and the women who are patient (in performing all the duties which Allah has ordered and in abstaining from all that Allah has forbidden), the men and the women who are humble (before their Lord Allah), the men and the women who give Sadaqat (i.e. Zakat, and alms, etc.), the men and the women who observe Saum (fast) (the obligatory fasting during the month of Ramadan, and the optional Nawafil fasting), the men and the women who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the men and the women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues (while sitting, standing, lying, etc. for more than 300 times extra over the remembrance of Allâh during the five compulsory congregational prayers) or praying extra additional Nawafil prayers of night in the last part of night, etc.) Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).” (Al-Ahzab 33:35)

There can thus be no doubt that in the Hereafter, men and women will both be judged, each individual bearing the burden of its own acts, each soul will be punished for its transgressions and each will be rewarded for its obedience to Allah (SWT).

Education

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) once said:

“Acquiring knowledge is compulsory for every Muslim.” (At-Tabarani)

This narration applies equally to men and women.  “Knowledge” in this context refers primarily to knowledge of the Quran and the Sunnah as no Muslim should be ignorant of his or her Faith, but it also covers other areas of general education which can contribute to the welfare of civilization. It is precisely the ignorance about their religion among Muslim that has led to men oppressing women because they believe it is permitted, women not demanding their Allah-given rights because they are ignorant of them, and children growing up to perpetuate their parents’ follies.  Throughout Islamic history, men and women both earned respect as scholars and teachers of the Faith.  The books of Rijal (Reporters of Hadith) contain the names of many prominent women, beginning with Aisha and Hafsah (RU).

Worship

Both men and women are the slaves of Allah (SWT) and have a duty to worship and obey Him.  Men and women have to pray, fast, give charity, go on pilgrimage, refrain from adultery and fornication, avoid the prohibited, enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and so on.  Because of women’s roles as mothers, a role which does not end at a specific time but is a round-the-clock career, they have been exempted from attending the masjid for the five daily prayers or for Jumuah (Friday) prayer.  Nevertheless, if they wish to attend the masjid, no one has the right to stop them.

Charitable Acts

Men and women are both encouraged to give charity, and there is nothing to stop a woman giving charity from her husband’s income.  Aisha (RA) reported that the Messenger of  Allah (SAW) said:

“If a woman gives in charity from her husband’s house ..” The Prophet (p.b.u.h) also said, “If a lady gives meals (in charity) from her husband’s house without spoiling her husband’s property, she will get a reward and her husband will also get a reward likewise. The husband will get a reward because of his earnings and the woman because of her spending.” (Sahih Bukhari)

Once Asma (RA) once said to the Prophet (SAW):

Once I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I have no property except what has been given to me by Az-Zubair (i.e. her husband). May I give in charity?” The Prophet said, “Give in charity and do not withhold it; otherwise Allah will withhold it back from you . ” (Sahih Bukhari)

The love of women
is made attractive to men.
God has arranged it:how can they avoid
what God has arranged?
In as much as God created woman
so that Adam might take comfort in her,
how can Adam be parted from Eve?

Positive attitudes create a chain reaction of positive thoughts. May we be lucky to be alive and loved, should we be alert to all of the possibilities for making our lives better, richer, and more fulfilling by having a positive attitude.

There is no limit to the good fortune that could fall into our laps, so why don’t we open our closed mind to any beautiful moments that may crosses our path or keep knocking at our doors again and again There is no stopping us now because so called LOVE is always beautiful.

We don’t limit our goals by thinking up reasons why they could fail. We should never drag ourselves down by denying the reality but live with the fact that love is always there. We just need to open our eyes and should close the door for vivid imagination of fear which is holding us back.

As long as we maintain our positive energy, we are open to new ideas, and we look in to our hearts and ask our Allah or God to guide us and the force of Allah or God will be with us. Ameen

Materialism or Wealth has no permanence, it comes in the morning,
and at night it is scattered to the winds.

Physical beauty too has no importance,
for a rosy face is made pale by the scratch of a single thorn.

Noble birth also is of small account,
for many become fools of money and horses.

Many a nobleman’s son has disgraced his father by his wicked deeds.

Don’t court a person full of talent either,
even if he seems exquisite in that respect:

Take warning from the example of Iblis .

Iblis had knowledge, but since his love was not pure,
he saw in Adam nothing but a figure of clay.

ITIKAF;
Itikaf is a form of worship. It is formed by staying in a Mosque for a certain time. It is Ehtiyat that one should stay with the intention to worship Allah by praying formal or informal prayers although prayer is not a condition therein.

The time for this form of worship could be anytime when one is allowed to fast. The best time is the month of Ramadan, especially, the last ten days.

Conditions for I’tikaf during Ramadhan:

1. Intention as in the rest of the worship acts. It is necessary that the intention be made at the beginning of Itikaf so that the rule, requiring the worship act to be completed with intention, be followed thoroughly from the beginning to the end. The decision made at the beginning of the night to start Itikaf from the beginning of the following day will be open to objection. However, if one decides to start it from the beginning of the night it is not an offense to do so.

One is not allowed to change one’s mind from one Itikaf to another of the same qualities or different.

2. Belief in Islam.

3. Freedom from mental illness.

4. Fasting; thus the Itikaf of one who cannot fast for some reason is not valid.

5. Duration; which is three continuous days at least. It could be more but not less than three days.

If it is started from the beginning of a day the two nights in between will be part of the duration. Less than three days is not considered Itikaf.

Things to avoid during Itikaf:

1. Having sex and also according to Ehtiyat kissing or playing with one’s wife;

2. According to a necessary Ehtiyat causing a semen discharge,

3. And smelling perfumes for enjoyment; it is not an offense if one cannot enjoy the perfume because of some defect in his smelling ability.

4. Selling or buying in the form of a business deal, according to a necessary Ehtiyat; there is no offense to be occupied with allowable activities as sewing or writing etc., although it is a Mustahab Ehtiyat to avoid them too.

If one needs to buy something for food and there is no one to do the buying for him, it is not an offence for him to do it.

5. Expressing bitterness in talking about worldly or religious matters in order to prove one’s ability, not the truth which is one of the best worships.

The contracts of buying or selling during Itikaf invalidate Itikaf, but such contracts will be valid.

If Itikaf is invalidated because of having sex even, during the night, expiation will be due; if it is invalidated by other things, there will be no expiation, although it is a Mustahab Ehtiyat in this case too.

The expiation for invalidating an Itikaf is to set free a slave or if this is not possible, fast for two consecutive months or if this also is not possible, feed sixty poor people.
